So exam week is just a couple of weeks away, and I still have a big assignments to complete before I can study. But I have some exciting news about after exams... I'm off to Cambodia!
I have been lucky enough to be accepted to go to Cambodia as part of a team of volunteers. We are hoping to build a school- in one week. Then, we teach in it!
This deffinately means I won't be on DA until January. That will make exactly 1 year since I have drawn anything. Oh well.
But I have decided: Before I draw anything, I am first going to get all my pictures back (when our computer died, I lost all my artworks stored on it. Luckily DA has most of them!)
Once I download all my pics, I will then get to work re-creating the 5 or so pictures I had stored on the computer that I lost. These pictures mostly feature Sakura from Tsubasa, as this was a series I was reading over last-years holidays.
Finally, I will then get to create new stuff! Yay!
I have a feeling that this cycle of draw tones in Jan and then disappear off the DA planet is going to repeat itself next year, and the next year...
DA has really given me a lot over the years. Looking at other peoples' artworks always inspires me to draw, and encourages me to improve. I defnately think my improved abilities are thanks purely to DA, and I am sad that DA has not been as big a part of my life recently.
But we all grow. It's part of life.
See you in Jan!

Wow, your stuff is really nice!
