Hello all!

It is currently the last week in my holidays and I am going to make the most of it. I have several completed linearts screaming for me to colour them, and many old photographs and artworks wanting to be submitted I can tell you that there are several Chii pics in that pile, and like I promised in my last journal a Princess Mononoke picture.

The first week of my holidays I spent with my family at the beach, and even though it is winter, the weather was lovely! We collected many shells and made some interesting creations as we do every year. Is there a section on DA for shell art?

In the second week I went to Adelaide with my university's Honors College for a mock United Nations conference. Uni paid for it all, apart from a few meals- it was so much fun! And also a lot of work I represented Romania and was in the World Health Organisation (WHO). We debated two topics- Genetically modified foods and how to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS. I actually proposed a resolution for GM foods and it passed within our committee, meaning I had to speak to all 500 delegates in the general assembly to convince them to pass the resolution- which they did!!! I felt so acomplished, can you imagine Romania proposing a solution to such a big issue???

On the day that I flew back home it was my younger sister's birthday and I made the cake. It was quite a creation (remember my Pirate Cake?) I'll submit a photo soon hopefully! Hush hush untill then...
I will tell you that the cake was some sort of flower.

Anyway, I have recently finished submitting all the artworks that my Mum commissioned to donate to her school for an Art Show. Hope you enjoy them
